By far the most exciting way to end my last morning of the year!

We have our own way of doing things, and today we did exchanging gifts!
What i got set me floating in my room ; those beat mine hands down.

so when all ended, my morning continued with snoring
heh

Today is the day that i took out dopey and put it in this small cage
while i left tiku in the big cage with all the toys.
They were fighting so bad that i had no choice to do that!
They were seriously out t kill one another.
And i let them stay that way for a day.
Like what snookie told me,
" punishment for them "

So, in the evening
cabbed down to heereen to have the last dinner with my best people! Namely:
Explora ; yanqi ; XiuXiang ; Aud ; jolene ; meilin
After which , chilling at coffee club and talked.
Soon, Explora and i left for Boat Quay!
Met the usuals in boat quay.
To sum things up;
best part of the countdown was during minutes away from the 2009 when
we had the best sit in s'pore!
No crowd , No pushing , No need t scold strangers & bla bla
everything was so peaceful around.
And once the clock strike 12;
we immersed ourselves with the beauty of the fireworks that was from the platform!

& the best part of all,
i was with who i want t start the new year !
Cause only then, it made it all worth while!

when the back scenes

Today marked the end of my 2nd week of holiday.
Dang, with just a week left, how fast can time fly, really...
So, i ended it with Kenduri ( Like a thanksgiving ceremony where all relations come and meet)
every aunties & uncles seem so amazed at my height.
and each individual die die must emphasize the word " BIG"
what do u expect if u last seen me when i was in pri 4 or 5?
dang eh~
I was trying my best t escape every possibilities that i have t helped out be it in the kitchen
or at the living room.
my brother saw what i was doing and asked me to wash cups and bla bla
so when i know that he found out abt my movements in the house
i stayed away from him as far as possible!
And the best part was that my parents planted me at the living room when the prayers started. I was supposed to represent the both of them. Seriously !
My camera came in so handy!
Everything ended by like 12 there.
Brother send me home with the best speed of 60km/h!

With a great surprise just right where i want it to be! !

Tham , Charles , Julian and i planned to be late for Baracuda's outing cause we wanted to sleep in! So , we the cool kid met at 5pm at PS. I was the most coolest cause i didn bring anything for the outing. But fazwan said that no need t bring and the most impt was for me to be there! So, i listened t him! ;)
HAHA!
So, when we reached east coast, the rest were already heading t Mac's t rest!
so when jiv came, we rented bikes and started 2 hours of cycling!
;)
I still must say, Chin ping have a damn positive thinking!

We celebrated Jiv's advanced 22nd Birthday!

I was the 2nd t wake up okie! Both elaine and shuk were late!
Since ah ling was early, she came up to my hse and started to stare
at dopey & Tiku.
She is very very scared of them!
At the very fact that she refuse to put back the wheel when the wheel came off! -_-"

So, after breakfast, we went to far east cause the two donkeys wanted to do express manicure!
Suat and i almost fall asleep while waiting okie!
like it was uberrr long! since there was only one lady who was doing the manicure.
After which elaine left t meet her friends while the 3 of us went over to PS.
We stayed there like the whole day! Because we r smart kids since we all know
that the other side of town was packed shit!
We did shopping in PS!
and i got something that was worth buying since it was at a very % price!
Had ljs ; Talked a lot about life during in smss!
we told suat that we used to hate suat's face!

and then zan came to join us!
I also remember that at 12 o'clock
instead of feeling so merry ,
i was already on my bed,
rolling around.
i was just so plain lazy and feel that i ought t do something better
like rolling around my bed ; staring at things .

Thursday : well, i just spend my day with family.
Followed mum to Tekka market where i learn a lot of stuff.
I also got a phobia for eating red meat now!
omgness, i could have died from the smell of the wet market ah~
like the way they cut these meat, kinda scary.
So to end off the day on a right track,
mum bought 3kg of crab for dinner for that day!
since bro came, he took some for his family.

so after today,
currently my fridge contains massive loads!
20 packet of chickens
5 kg of beef
2 kg of cow's heart
2kg of cow's i dun noe which part
5kg of lam's i dun noe which part
8kg of sotong
lots and lots of more stuff that there is no space for my poor nuggets ; instant prata and more nuggets! :(
All this are t be used for a family function this Sunday.
And i am already dragging this whole idea!

Waking up part after the whole fun night
was really really difficult.
Because my body still said not satisfy with the short rest, basically.
So dragged myself after like 100000 missed calls from Audrey and Zi jing!

By 3pm , i was at Bukit Panjang Plaza.
Time checked : I was 2 hrs late.
Yanqi , Audrey and Zi Jing were already there doing shopping for the steamboat!

Once we reached Audrey's house
i went on sight seeing her new house!
Wuuuu, nice ahh~
So after which , we started our baking session.
We baked chocolate cake and chocolate cookies!
All i did throughout the whole baking session,
was that i put on this cute apron which i found somewhere behind the fridge
and after which i know it belongs to Aunty !
And i walked around the kitchen , not allowed to touch anything that were used in
the process of baking because the pros - Yanqi and Audrey said that

and as for Zi jing, HAHA! her job was to wash all the things that needed t be wash ah.
So, i walked around with the apron and taking pictures !
At about 6.30pm,

and steamboat was really good and thank you aunty for preparing it ;)
There were too many left overs , oopsi!
so, we did a lot of talks and catch up !

i was at ChinaTown
looking for this particular cafe that sells a dam good egg
and after getting down from the cab
we went t the wrong direction
and somehow
we stumble upon a Nasi Padang Shop!
Uh HUH!

so, we give it a try and
wuuuuu~
ITS DAMN AWESOME!
BUT
really really costly!

mind u, the chicken is soosh smalll!
So, after that we went on t search for the cafe.

and when we reached there,
the cafe was not open!

so, we slack at central.

Day 30 , 12 Dec 2008 .
i will remember this date because
i felt a different kind of happiness in my life.
The kind of happiness which u can only get
once in a life time.
i am glad this very day come and everything was just
happiness.
Day 30,
marks the end of having the freedom
to wear my tongue stud and walk with chin high up
like u r some kind of king , around the house.
HARH!
Mum thought i took it off already, butttt
i will do it one fine day , but not now.

marks the end of CT period!!
OMGNESSS!
its OVER LA !
it was a last minute study for all my 4 papers!
So , 1 wk before the exam period,
it was still " yah yah, next wk is the exam, okok, i go sleep first then we study later"

So , 1 day before each paper, i panic!
I have wake up calls 2 hrs after resting my body.
Then from 1am to 5 or 6 am, will start t gear up for studying.
Then wake up by 11 or 12 noon
and continue panicking till the paper is over!
harh!
So, this pretty much went on from monday till thursday night
when i , at the end of the league, studied from 12am to 8am!
WAHHHHHH PIANGGZZZZ!
I had to munch munch so that i will not fall asleep!
BUT i know of a penguin who drink 6 cans of COKE
in the duration of 4 hrs and feel so hyper for that period of time
and after which, her stomach died i think! harh!
papers , well they are just nothing for now.
So, why think when u already
suffer so much! nyhhe!
Due to the constrain of time,
if i did not reply any of ur msges,
well , i am really sorry because i am really busy,
cause i will put aside and i will reply but then i forgot all abt it... so sorry

So, he made me run a lot that morning!
We zoom there, waited and waited.
My aunties and uncles were already there.
Heart was dam heavy because the agent told us they should be landing at 12.30pm
but even after 1pm, they have not landed.
So, i stared at the tv screen, and i saw that SQ455 landed!
and when i saw both my parents came out, my heart just stood still
and i cannot help but really really give out a big big sign of relief.
I MISS THEM SOOOOO Blarddy MUCH!
And my aunty ( my mum's older sister) just had t ruin the moments when she told me she want t hug my mother first. WAH PIANGZZZ!
if it had not been her size and height, i swear i really would have push her down!
and t think that is my aunty! urghhhh!
my brother and i already got things planned.
He will hug mum and i will hug my dad.
My sister, who cares rytee?
wah , so angry i tell u!
anddddd well it feels good t have them back, i dun care the above freedom i have
cause nothing beats having them back with good health.
I really thank god.
So friday and saturday,
my house have been filled with uncles and aunties from both side of the family.
I finally met my grandpa and my grandama, but they are not my real ones.
After my real granpa passed away, my real grandma re-married. Then when i real grandma passed away, my 2nd granpa re-married.
TADA, thus they r not my real ones. HAHA! so funny ah~
my 2nd granpa is 90 yeas old and still strong!
I also learn that my aunty have a Kampong in Malaysia with big big fruit garden and that next yr, during durian sesson,
my family and some other uncle families will be going there
for holiday! taking CHOOT CHOOT TRAIN! eh, cool ah~
Now, u may asked
why on earth i am so worried sick about my parents going for pilgrimage?
Well, for a start let me give u the meaning of it.
In religion and spirituality, a pilgrimage is a long journey or search of great moral significance. Sometimes, it is a journey to a sacred place or shrine of importance to a person's beliefs and faith. Members of many major religions participate in pilgrimages. A person who makes such a journey is called a pilgrim.
Now, the worrying part comes when adults ,
tell me their knowledge.
The flight to there takes 12 hours, that i know.
But they have t add chili sauce by saying
that the plane will actually pass by the Bermuda Triangle.
You and i both know that just by hearing those 2 words,
its no where near comforting !
so my mind starts t ponder ponder....
Next, well since it so far away and u will never know what will happen,
they say, some pass away there....
well, this also is no where near comforting ....
my grandpa passed away when he was doing his pilgrimage.
So, in a way anything can REALLY happen.
Well, the list goes on and on....
But bottom line is, i am glad that my parents make went there and finish
what they really want to do and now, back home!

Is no joke when u r home alone for 1mth. Where u have t cook for yourself. Boil water so that
u can drink clean waterr. Sometimes, when i am dam dam tired after sch, when i go home, even if i am hungry, i will just go t sleep. The next day , i skip breakfast,

But i have a penguin friend who carries a bagpack full of food! and her mum is really sweet to make breakfast for me too! ;) Penguin's family are really nice ppl! Her sister drove me home almost everyday during ct period and once to jalan kayu and her mum paid for my food. I feel that i owe them a lot...
so sorry penguin....

the undying morning calls from penguin, and when she asked me to wake up,
she will go back t sleep , and sometimes i feel that she really think i stay in Changi.
Sometimes, on nights where i really could not take it, i will call them there, like a simple hello will do. A simple hello will make my night and thats when i will have a moment of peaceful mind to go to bed. And there were times when i see families , it struck me that, where are mine? when are they coming back? what are they exactly doing? how are they ?
and my train of thoughts just go on....
all i have is a website of pictures of them, like what is the whole grp doing, where they go,
and some clips which most of the time, my parents are nt inside.
really really depressing okie!
Oscar was always there to cheer me up , every single day w/o fail!

Throughout this 30 Days,
my bond with my brother and family
have grown as well.
Which is good , harh!
now, he knows he can depend on me
and i am no longer just his small sister in his eyes,
it better be!
despite his busy schedule, he calls every night t ask about me, what i do and stuff.
His oldest, always tell me abt he and his gf, he and his friend, harh!
so much of trust he is giving me~
nontheless, our jokes been on the same frequency..
